Fastening and Joining Tools: Part I

Working around the home requires several tools. There are tools for measuring and marking, tools for cutting, tools for demolition, tools for applying materials, and also tools for fastening and joining materials. Now, having the right tools can make all difference in the world. In addition, the quality of the tools also matters a lot. Yes, it is possible to find very inexpensive tools, but these tools will most likely not last as much you would want them to, or need them to.
Today, we will be covering a part of our tool box. We will focus on the basic fastening and joining tools.

Fastening and Joining Tools

When you are doing work around the home, you will soon discover that things that were put together to give stability and structure to a home will often, and often relatively fast, fall apart. But not to worry! Our fastening and joining tools will come to the rescue to put the nail back in the wall and the screw back in its joist!

Wood Windows Warehouse is ready to help you with any custom wood windows in the bay area  Furthermore, please check our yelp profile and see what other people are saying avoid Wood Windows Warehouse near Berkeley and Piedmont!
So let's get started with one of the most essential tools: the 16-once claw hammer. The 16-once claw hammer will help you both putting things together and also to pull out nails. Make sure to get one that feels comfortable. Also, if the weight of the 16-once hammer is not helping, you can also get a less heavy hammer which will do the work in most instances.

Now, the next tool that you will need to get is the rubber mallet, which will help you drive in nails without doing damage to the surrounding area. This leads us to the next tool: the nail set, which is positioned over the nail head to drive the nail smoothly.

Our next tool in our tool box is a selection of screwdrivers, including a standard screwdriver and a Phillips screw driver. Remember that it is usually a good ideas to get screw drivers in different sizes and shapes. For instance, screw drivers with longer shafts can be very useful when trying to reach places that are hard to reach.

There you have it, the first part of the fastening and joining tools. But that is just the first part so.... start saving money for the tool box! Nah, just kidding. Borrow the tools from your friends and family.
