Types of Roofing Available

You are looking to give your home a new look. You have made several changes inside. However, now you are looking to do something on the outside. You could decide to re paint your home but instead you decide to remodel the floor. Hey, why not? There are many different types of roof materials and roof styles available. Today we will analyze some of the most popular roof styles for your home, so that it can look amazing.

The first style of roof we will take a look at is the mansard roof. This roof style consists of four main slopes, with two slopes on each side of the home, which creates additional living and storage space.

2) The second style of roof is the gambrel roof, which is a Dutch style of flooring similar to the Mansard Roof, with the difference that it has vertical gable ends.

3) The fourth type of roof available is the pyramid roof. This type of roofing is, like the name implies, shaped like a pyramid. This type of roofing really goes well with building designs that have an air of extravagance.

4) The fourth style of roof we will talk about is the hip roof, which has a similar feel to the pyramid roof with the exception that it has a ridge or flat spot. This roof design can be more practical than the pyramid roof style.

5) A fifth style of roof available is the flat roof. This roof tends to be easier to construct but one main disadvantage is that it is also one of the roofing types that require the highest maintenance. The reason for this is that flat roofs accumulate debris faster than other roofs.

6) A sixth common floor type is the arched roof. This type of roof is used only on certain parts of a building, such as entrances. This type of flooring can really add a touch of elegance and unity to a design.

7)  The seventh type of roof you can choose from is the skillion roof type, which is a roof with just one sloping roof surface.

Without a doubt, adding a touch of elegance and uniqueness to a home is made all possible through the use of a different roof style.
